The ADHD to-do list One task, at a time.

Write down what needs your focus. FocusDo keeps just one thing on screen, and nudges you back when you drift.

No tags. No priorities. No projects. Just the one thing you’re doing.

Built for brains that wander.

Write it down.

A plain list with nothing to set up. When you’re ready, tap Focus and the rest of the list steps aside.

Questions

What is FocusDo?

FocusDo is a minimal to-do list app for iPhone, iPad and Mac, built for ADHD brains. You keep one plain list; tap Focus and it shows a single task at a time. If you switch to another app mid-task, your task follows you into the Dynamic Island with a nudge every couple of minutes.

Is FocusDo good for ADHD?

It’s built for ADHD brains and anyone who gets pulled away easily. CHADD, the US national ADHD organization, notes that executive function difficulties affect “an individual’s ability to begin, work on and complete tasks.” So instead of more ways to organize, FocusDo gives you fewer: one plain list, and a Focus Mode that shows a single task at a time. A pair of eyes keeps you company while you work, a bit like body doubling without the video call.

How is it different from Todoist or Things?

Those apps are great at organizing a lot of tasks. FocusDo is for doing one of them. No projects, tags or priorities to maintain. Why we left them out.

Does it block other apps?

No. It never locks you out of anything. If you leave during Focus Mode, your task follows you into the Dynamic Island and nudges you back every couple of minutes. How the nudges work.

Do I need an account?

No sign-up. Your tasks live on your device, and in your own iCloud if you have Pro. See the privacy policy.

Does it work on iPad and Mac?

Yes. iPhone and iPad with iOS 17.6 or later, and Macs with Apple silicon.

How much does it cost?

FocusDo is free. Pro adds iCloud sync, custom nudge intervals and unlimited headings for $5.99 a year, $1.99 a month, or $19.99 once.
