Why We Built FocusDo

Have you ever had this happen —

You’re working on a report, then remember you need to reply to a message. After replying, you scroll through a couple of posts, tap a link, read an article. By the time you snap out of it, forty minutes have passed and the report is still on paragraph one.

It’s not that you didn’t want to work. You were busy the whole time — just not with the same thing.

We know that feeling all too well.

Designed for the Distracted Mind

FocusDo is built for people with ADHD and anyone who gets easily pulled away.

We didn’t build a powerful project management tool. Quite the opposite — we stripped away everything we could. Because for a distracted brain, every extra feature is another exit ramp.

That’s why FocusDo is black-and-white, minimal to the bone. No tags, no priority levels, no kanban boards, no flashy colors. Open it, and all you see is a clean list.

Think of something, jot it down. Then focus on one thing at a time and get them done.

A Pair of Eyes That Stay With You

When you enter focus mode, the screen shows only the task you’re working on — and a pair of little eyes.

They sit there quietly, keeping you company. When you’re in the zone, they watch you work. When you drift away for too long, they gently nudge you — hey, come back.

They don’t rush you. They don’t judge you. They’re just a quiet companion, staying right here with you.

After you lock your screen, the Dynamic Island keeps showing what you’re working on. No matter what app you open, that line of text is always there — a soft reminder: you still have something going.
